Group of translators and editors on the work of William Shakespeare.- This Group was born as a result of the first Shakespeare Encounters, willing to be a THEORETICAL reflexion that would set the bases for stage-writing, actors’ training, starting from the SCHOOL and TRANSLATION of Shakespeare’s work , on whose origin took part emblematic figures such as Jan Kott, T.B. Spencer or Giorgio Melchiori… The aim was to reach a moment where the ability of editing and translating Shakespeare into Spanish could be developed. Old trained Manuel Angel Conejero, José Vicente Martínez Luciano and Vicente Forés as linguists and Drama Specialists since the purpose of translating was to design a School for the Actors, with the great support of the poet Jenaro Talens. This has given fruits already consolidated and its texts having been published in the leading Publisher CATEDRA/LETRAS UNIVERSALES since years ago, with a great acceptance both of critics and readers all around the Hispanic world. This team has been a reference and a ground where all young translators, actors and dramatists have found a level of excellence, having nowadays become Scholars of repute: Dr. Pilar Ezpeleta, Dr. Vicent Montalt, Dr. Miguel Teruel, Dr. Jesús Tronch…
